Better than expected September 5, 2010 Jimm It sounds well and looks good for this price. Its volume control on a separate cord (not on the base unit) may be considered a disadvantage.
It`s good September 4, 2010 Dave I like this product..This is what I expected, little size, good looking, good sound. I can recommend to anyone!
Works August 31, 2010 Josh Jeffords I am rather happy I got these plus a warranty for under $26 in AK "that is cheaper than the old egg shaped no Sub speaker everyone used to have in the 90s-2000s." these things are compact well designed and offer more sound than I need. "the Sub shakes my desk!" I use mine for gaming/video not a music expert so no opinion on that spec wise but sounds great to me. also pretty easy to set up, even on a cluttered desk. I recommend this to any non technocrat or audio elitist for entry level speaker. not good for laptop as not portable mostly for desktop.
CRAPPY WIRING! August 31, 2010 D. Suits (Los Angeles, Ca) I was completely fine with these speakers until the jack that connects the speakers to the bass woofer stopped working properly. The right speaker no longer works, UGH! You really DO get what you pay for with Logitech!
Really Cheap Sound August 30, 2010 Juanvic 5185 When I bought these speakers I thought they would rock my world, beacuse c'mon they're Logitech. Firstly I had a set of Altec Lansing's BXR1221 2.1 and they were ok but being the audiophile that I am, I still wanted more thumping on that bass. So went on and took back the Altec Lansings to Wallmart (taking advantage of their return policy) and got my money back. Since the Logitech LS21 are the same price as Altec Lansing BXR1221 I didnt loose any money. But WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!!! The Altec Lansing were like ten times better and for the price forget about it go for the Altec Lansing. Then what I did is that I decided to spend just a buck more for another Logitech model (x140) and now I'm more than satisfied. Logitech LS21 sounded completly horrible. They sounded like if they were wrapped around with paper, my creative zen didn't even sounded and my zune also sounded very low. The max volume level went to as high as an old vintage radio's volume. The only thing that I liked was that you could control the bass level from the sub woofer but appart from that it's just crap. The satellites sounded with alot of bass, little to no high and none whatsoever any mid (figuratively speaking). If you're willing to spend from 20$-30$ for laptop speakers I highly recomend the Altec Lansing BXR1221 2.1 or Logitech x-140 that's it. DONT GO WITH THIS CRAP!
