this is the worst piece of crap since Mormonism. DON'T BUY THIS EVER! i got this so i could hook up my video game console to my computer monitor, because rca and vga are both analog then it should work but it didn't, wait there's more. since that didn't work then i tried to use it for my laptop and that didn't work either. so i can't figure out if this piece of crap has any use at all!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not working for my laptop. i tried 3 different laptop from three different generations. none of them is working. i dont no why i bought this garbage after all these negative review. just wasted my money. the funny part is that the company will reimburse the money for the adapter if you pay the shipping!! which is twice the price of the adapter hah hah. amazon should remove this item from the website.

it sucks and I had to pay for the return! I usually get confortable with my deals on amazon, but this was rally bad deal. I was really mad cause the item really did not work, so I returned it, but I had to pay the shipping back. I returned it because I had already given my word to the company that I would, but I paid almost the same for the return than the cost of the item. REALLY DISSATISFITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now before you click to buy this product, let me share what i did moments before i bought it. I searched amazon for some kind of cord that would allow me to hook my old consoles to my monitor. after seeing products priced around 40$, i came to this. This product looked very promising. It stood out from the rest for its sheer simplicity. Unfortunately many of the reviews looked like this "doesn't work" or "doesn't connect pc to tv" - obviously. so, against my better judgement, i decided to look for positive reviews. i came across one that said "...I bought this item [and] intended on using it to use xbox 360 or nintendo wii running it to the monitor thus the "RCA TO VGA" hookup...this product worked great when I used it for what I bought it for! Great buy!!!". after seeing this, i knew i had found the product i was looking for.
It came in the mail several days later, i took it home and hooked it and my ps2 up to my monitor. nothing happened. I tried plugging it in to the back of my computer. nothing happened. then i remembered that the person whom i previously quoted said "...But there was software issues...". I proceded to look at the comments for that review, only to find out that everybody else was having the same problem as I. Everybody asked him how he got his set up because nobody else could. He never replied. not only that but i found out it was his only review. Im guessing the seller made an extra account and made a false review.
If anybody has got this product to work, please comment on my review with your set-up and/or software you used to make it work.
